Nikolaos Gogonas is an Assistant Professor in Intercultural Communication and Globality at the Department of Language and Intercultural Studies of the University of Thessaly. He holds a DPhil from Sussex University and he has extended teaching experience in tertiary education (University of Thessaly, Université du Luxembourg, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). His research interests include Intercultural communication, intercultural education, multilingualism in contexts of migration, superdiversity and globality. His publications include edited volumes, book chapters and articles in international journals such as Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Multilingua, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, International Migration. He is an editorial board member at the Journal of Multilingual Theories and Practices (Equinox).
