He holds a DPhil from Sussex University and he has extended teaching experience in tertiary education (University of Thessaly, Universit\u00e9 du Luxembourg, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens).  His research interests include Intercultural communication, intercultural education, multilingualism in contexts of migration, superdiversity and globality. His publications include edited volumes, book chapters and articles in international journals such as Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Multilingua, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, International Migration.
